Misunderstood

From the journal . . . . December 1987

O God. You are the Faithful one.

And I believe God said . . .

You are mine. I hear you and I know of your pain.
My brothers misunderstood me too.*
It’s okay because I know your heart.
All that you feel, I know*.  You are My child and My bride.
Even though I allow your hurt, I am your protection.
You have asked Me not to let your hurt turn to hate or resentment.*
The way I do that is by lifting up your chin to look at Me.
You have to continually choose to look at Me.

John 7:3-8 . Psalms 139 . Luke 6:27-36

May 2019 This particular entry was odd.   I didn’t write what was going on and I don’t know exactly what brought about that specific  ‘pain’.  However, God knew and His response has been a comfort many many times since then. It was very personal but I know it’s not just for me!
