September 2019 ‘User Friendly’ is a significant selling point for me, especially concerning electronic technology. I remember back to a time that it was a sign of weakness to let someone ‘use you’. However, it’s never a problem to let God use you! It’s a great honor when He can!! I believe all He needs is our permission.
From the journal . . . October 2007
I suspect Harriet of talking about me behind my back. Lord, I am at my workplace for Your purposes. I’m trusting that every trial there serves to make me more what You want me to be. It hurts my feelings to be thought of badly but I can’t control that. Oh Lord, help me to do good for my students and co-workers. I often think of Cora and how she wouldn’t talk about people. I want to be like that. I want to be a good example of a Christian and I don’t want to be ashamed. I love you, Lord. Please don’t ever give up on Me.
And I Believe God Said . . . .
I will never leave you, nor forsake you*. Keep on looking to Me. You don’t see the big picture, but you must trust Me. I’m the artist and the creator. I am using your life. Trust Me. I love you and you are valuable to Me. I am your God. You belong to Me and I am responsible for you*.
Don’t doubt my ability or willingness to use you for My purposes. I’ve got your back. I understand your heart and your desires to be of value*. You are precious to me. You are user friendly.
