Reconciliation

December 2019 Christmas is the beginning of Reconciliation. Sin separates us from God because He is Holy. In the hymn “O Holy Night” we sing of a world in sin and error pining till HE Appears!!!!!! God became man and dwelt among us.

From the journal . . . . April 2011

I was grieving and pouring out to The Lord about a marriage breakdown of someone very dear to me.  I felt that my dear one was being horribly bullied. I asked the Lord “Lord, do Your precepts about marriage only work for those committed to You?”

And I Believe the Lord said:

My grace is sufficient.  The precepts and concepts are good but not the complete fix.  People need me.

John 15:5

It seems like her relationship with you has dimmed but I really don’t know where she is with You.   Oh God, so what do I do now.?

And I believe the Lord said:

Always encourage relationship with Me.  I am a jealous god.  I won’t take second place.  From this point, let this be your heart’s passion.  Let My passion be yours.  Reconciliation.  Uniting man with God.

2Corinthians 5:18 . Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation,

That’s pretty clear! For this dear one and all of US! You died for our sins – so we can come to You.  Even when we have sinned.*  You went to the cross so we could come to You, sin and all, yet how often we let our sin come between us and You.

*Romans 5:8  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. NASB

  1. Diane – thank you for being open to the Lord for Him to use you to minister to the broken-hearted. My Pastor always says: “The church is not a museum for saints but a hospital for sinners.” We all need Christ’s mercy, grace and love.
