The Reminder of God

May 2020

One of my favorite definitions of Glory has to do with giving a good impression of God. If I am hoping to give glory to God then what I do should result in others thinking better of God because of it. His creation smacks of His Glory. Springtime in the Northwest! I can’t help but say “God, what a good job You did!” The whole earth is filled with His glory!

From the journal. . . .  January 2016

Everything I do takes time.  It’s discouraging and disappointing, but it’s life.  I am alive and I have a full life.  I know that I am more comfortable with that, than I am with time on my hands.  I think that I wish I was different but what do I know!  You are Lord of all and You made me. * Thank You Jesus for revelation.  I love You.   * Is 64:8

And I Believe God said:

Jodi is sad. Donyeta is discouraged.  You could relate because you have been sad and you have been discouraged.  You sent words to your friends and that helps.  You know this because that has helped you. *  But they need Me and My truth more than anything.  That is why you must pray.  When you do – I hear.  When you tell them – they are pointed to Me.  As you live your life before your peeps, they need to see Me as a huge part of your life.  Whether or not they approve isn’t as crucial as the reminder of Me.   I am who you believe I am.   My Holy Spirit in you prompts your actions and emotions.  You love Me and others because I first loved you. *

2 Corinthians 1:4. 1 John 4:19

Lord, Thank You for Your words to me.  I am grateful.  What about my nasty responses from yesterday’s emotions? I was awful to my students.  Nasty looks and nasty tones in my voice.  I’m really disgusted and sorry.  God help me.

Okay.  I do help you and I will continue.  Keep loving, keep confessing and keep asking.  My grace is sufficient for you and them.

Matt 7:7 2 Cor. 12:9
