Battle in Prayer

From the journal . . . . June 2020

Oh Lord. What a mess our country is in and we can’t even trust what we read in the news. I remember when President Trump was elected. We were stunned. Thrilled that Hillary was defeated but, oh my goodness! Donald Trump was a bit rogue!   Since then, I think he’s been good for our country. He is pro-life and he advocates for Christian rights. I’m not sure about his relationship with you. Google says, “He says he’s a Presbyterian”.

And I Believe God Said:

He is a work in process. I am using him nationally and globally. I want more of him personally.  I want all of My people. I want to be involved with every part of their lives. I have time and capacity to be in close relationship with all My people for eternity. But so, so few join with Me in this way. A very small percentage.

President Trump has much opposition but I am here for him. Many of My people are praying for him. Don’t let up because it is a spiritual battle. There is much at stake, especially for the people in the United States of America.  The enemy has a foothold in your country, but I have many warriors battling in prayer. Praise and petition. Stay focused. Go through the passage of Deuteronomy 20:2-4.  Just as you memorized it.

From the Bible. . .

“When you prepare for battle the priest must come forward and speak to the troops. And he will say to them.  ‘Listen to me, men of Israel. Do not be afraid when you go out to fight against your enemies today. Do not lose heart or panic or tremble before them. For the Lord your God is going with you. He will fight your enemies for you and give you the victory.”

Deutoronomy 20:2-4

And I Believe God Said:

I am the Priest. Christians are the troops. The battle is the war between good and evil. The devil is the enemy, with all his cohorts and all of the evil forces in the heavenlies. The Lord your God is the King and Captain of the Kingdom of God. The troops are the Christians. They are to keep praying and praising Me! Those are your weapons of warfare.  You also have the armor for security and protection.

Eph. 6:13-17

Lord, I think about young David. He had no armor. Just his sling and rocks. But, he had praise, faith, and righteous indignation in the name of the Lord his God. You gave him the victory and You loved him. You made him King over Your people Israel.
