Lilac Bush

June . . . . 2020

More than anything, I want the people I love to have a close relationship with Jesus.  It’s not something for me to judge and it would be impossible to do so because relationships are so personal and unique.  However, if they communicate the need, I want to help!!

From the Journal. . . . April 2016

I was concerned with a couple of loved ones because they were going through a hard time and having trouble connecting to God. I journaled  to the Lord.  .  .

“Lord, I want to help but I wonder if my words could be a stumbling block somehow. Lord – have I been too verbal? “

And I Believe the Lord Said:

And have the rocks cry out?* You share with them out of your love for Me and them.  I know how you yearn for them.  I do too.  Keep praying.  Keep loving. All of your peeps.  Know that I am working.  You don’t always see or hear what I am doing but you must believe that I am.*  Remember how disappointed you were when you looked at the lilac bush and you couldn’t see any blossoms?  But today you are starting to see.  The buds are the same color as the bush so they were camouflaged.  Go look at your little bush now.

*Luke 19:40. 2 Cor. 5:7

Sweet!  There are a lot!

At the right time they bloom.  I make all things beautiful in My time.*

*Ecc. 3:11

When I had looked at my lilac bush originally, I wasn’t close to it.  I was looking for blossoms but all I saw was green foliage.  The blossoms were on the way!!  In the waiting!!

When we pray for something for a long, long time, we don’t always notice the subtle changes that are taking place.   Our vision is sometimes limited by ourselves or circumstances.  Camoulflaged. We must believe even when we don’t see.
