I have come to realize that I do not like to accept bad things. When bad things happen I tend to look for possible reasons why it can’t be true. When I say ‘that’s unbelievable’ sometimes I am really saying, “ I just don’t want to believe that.” It’s really hard to be me sometimes!!!
From the Journal . . . .June 2018
Psalms 141:5. Don’t let me refuse direction from the Godly. But I pray constantly against the wicked and their deeds.
God, that’s a dilemma. Should I pray against the wicked?
And I believe God Said:
Yes, against their wickedness. You are to judge wickedness and pray against the fruit and results of wickedness. Pray for repentance and for what is necessary to bring it about. Pray that consequences be strong enough to be effective, yet with enough mercy to give hope for forgiveness. You personally don’t want to call anyone wicked and you aren’t called to. But you must acknowledge wicked deeds, thoughts attitudes, concepts, life styles, and mindsets that are godless. Those things produce unrighteousness. My Holy Spirit in you, along with My Holy Word – the Bible, will guide and instruct you about righteousness. About what’s right and what is wrong.* You can trust that, but be aware of the lies and liars who twist and distort the truth. Be wary as a serpent but innocent as a dove.*

Thank You Lord. There is much truth in here and I want to absorb it all.

I agree, I think we just don’t want to believe some of the things we see and hear that are truly wrong, it’s especially hard when it’s people we care about doing these things! In this particular time we are seeing great divides in beliefs…Jesus bridge the gaps, change the hearts and minds of those who are deceived!!!
