A Light Hearted Blessing

This is a sequel to what I posted last time. *

I wrote this right after the words I had received from the Lord. At that time, I had asked Him to read a stressful email with me.

*Blog Post:  Nov.7th 2021   Emotional? Wait. Pray First

“Lord, You know I told coach Claudia that You could use her.  She indicated that You have before, but I wonder if she really understands.  God, this was a very significant event!  You truly changed my thinking.  I want this always.  I asked You to look at the email with me and You truly answered that request.”

Ps. 32:4 I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.He freed me from all my fears

That was a very, very critical time. Within months, I felt the Lord giving me the choice to retire after that school year instead of the following year. The coach and principal had mentioned retirement; however, I didn’t want to be bullied by them.  So, I sought the Lord.* I believe it was exactly His plan for me and I’ve never regretted it!

Ps 34:8   The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.

The Lord doesn’t just make Himself known during our struggles but also through the lighthearted blessings He brings. He takes every opportunity to show us His great love for us.   That’s what He did for me a few months later, in this next entry.

From the journal .  .  .  . April 2017

Wow!  Lord, I can print notes from my phone to my printer.  That is so cool!  It tickles me!!

And I Believe God Said:

I am glad.  Enjoy this day, my daughter.  I paid the price on the cross so you can freely share all of your life with me:  the sadness, the frustration, doubt, disappointment, and the joy.  My blood – the blood I shed for you – accomplished all of that. * Be of good cheer.  Not all days or times are like this, but I am just as present on all days.  I am constant.  I died so I can accept all of you.  I love you and you are precious to Me.  All the time.

Thank You, Jesus.  I posted that on Facebook.  Please use it for your purposes for those who need it.

*Gal 3:13-15 Christ bought us with His blood and made us free from the Law. In that way, the Law could not punish us. Christ did this by carrying the load and by being punished instead of us. It is written, “Anyone who hangs on a cross is hated and punished.” 14 Because of the price Christ Jesus paid, the good things that came to Abraham might come to the people who are not Jews. And by putting our trust in Christ, we receive the Holy Spirit He has promised. NLV

Jer 32: 38 They will be my people, and I will be their God. 39 And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship me forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants. 40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me. 41 I will find joy doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land.
