This is a different kind of blog post. There was nothing significant going on that I remember, and I had just started writing in my journal when I sensed the Lord speaking. As usual I wrote out what I believe He said but I didn’t write anything else. I encourage you to ask Him how or if this applies to you personally.
From the journal . . . . July 1990
I am God and I will speak to My people. I am as faithful and as discernable as the mountains. As you put on spiritual glasses that My Spirit provides, I will compensate for your faulty vision. One day I will totally heal your sight but until then don’t forget your glasses. You are handicapped but My grace is sufficient for you.
2 Peter 1:3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. NLT
2 Cor 12:9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. NASB1995
The obvious questions are, What are those spiritual glasses and how do we put them on? I think The Lord wants each of us to seek Him personally concerning this. I’m praying He will speak to you and me in a way that will draw us closer to Him.
