This is my Encouraging Moments for You Christmas card!  There’s a second part of it, sort of like a letter inside.  That will come next week!

From the journal. . . . December 3^rd, 2024

Jesus, I adore you. I’m so glad that You want me to be with You, here on earth and later in heaven. You remind me of that over and over and over.  I find it in Scripture: 

Gen 3:9 Then the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, “Where are you?”

God wanted to be with him!

Ezekiel 36:28 You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God.

God is possessive and He wants to be with His people!

Isaiah 41:10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Josh 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

God is with you!

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Holy Spirit is with you!

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

I find the same message in Christmas carols:   

Hark the Herald Angels Sing

God and sinners reconciled Pleased as man with man to dwell   Jesus our Emmanuel

Little Town of Bethlehem

O Come to us, abide with us our Lord Emmanuel

God Rest You Merry Gentlemen/ He Has Come for Us

He has come for us this Jesus  He’s the hope of all mankind

He has come to us Messiah  Born to give us life

Listen to what you are singing this season!

I find this same message of His desire to be with us in Christmas cards, preaches, friends, everywhere!  And the Holy Spirit bears witness deep within me.  In other words, I know it in my knower! God wants to be with us!

And I Believe God Said:

My love is unconditional. Good or bad, sinful or redeemed, I love My children. For unto you a child is born. Unto you My son is given. Love Him, love Me. And His name will be called Immanuel. God with us.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
 
Matt 1:23 ²³ “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” NKJV

That was Your intention. To be with us!  I adore you, Lord. Thank you!
